Damion It was a big money month for me. We cashed in on $257 at the garage sale we had at the house. I unloaded the ping pong table and a few extra bicycle racks I had along with a bunch of cluttered items we had. The first item to go was an AC/DC concert dvd. The last thing to go was my GoPro camera. Still unsure what to spend the money on but I'm happy to have a bunch more space in my garage. Speaking of garage, our previous tenants in our Laguna Hills house have moved out and I've got to get to painting the garage before we find new tenants. If anyone has any white paint they are looking to get rid of, let me know. I'm also not very excited to find out that I have to have the palm tree ripped out of the backyard since it is too big for the home owners association. Latest baby news: Ryan turns 1 year old next month so I'll pass along birthday photos and he's almost ready to walk. It amazes me how quick little kids learn stuff. I'm not sure how many objects Ryan can identify but I'm sure he's surpassed me. At this rate, he should know Photoshop inside and out next month. Speaking of babies, my brother and sister in law just had a baby girl. Isabella was born on June 26th. She's a cutie! Last but not least - Colin has left the building as a full time employee of DH Design and Brandon has taken over the web development seat. Colin is headed back to school to learn something or another and will be working for us part time for a while and then on a freelance basis. We'll miss him around the office. Wait a minute, he's the jerk that put that annoyatron in my office last year. I won't miss him at all. Good riddance... Next month...4th of July, Ryan's bday photos, Deer Valley photoshoot and more! Colin Mihyang and I drove down to Damion's house in San Juan Capistrano one Saturday morning to sell some of our junk at his massive neighborhood garage sale. We only made about $45 but I wasn't expecting to hit the jackpot. I was just glad to get rid of old clutter. Afterwards we headed to the downtown area and had lunch at a small shack of a cafe by the train station. I think it was called the Humming Bird Garden or something like that. It was expensive, but they had great lunch fare and heavenly tiramisu. We poked around town and explored the Mission. I hadn't been there since I was in 4th grade and had to build a scale model of it from construction paper and popsicle sticks. This Mission definitely deserves a few points for the bad-ass ruins of the old church. It looks like a bomb went off in there. A few points down for the creepy Padres with naked Native American boys, but overall this Mission was more fun than the Santa Barbara Mission we went to last year. Kenny Summer is here! As I posted last month, I've been riding my new bike, and loving it. I'm going to be honest, I'm only riding two times a week. I know! I'm never going to loose the LB's! I am down a couple pounds I'm happy to report. More news on the condo in RSM. I'm closer. I couldn't qualify for the load on my own, but I did get word back from the bank that they want to close by August 1, 2010. Good news, if I could get the loan. The only way for me to do it is to get someone to co-sign on the loan, so I asked my mom. At this time, I'm just waiting for the new addendum to get signed by the seller, and sent to escrow for approval. My agent is saying that this might look negatively to the bank and to the escrow agent, but I'm still confident that everything will work out. Next month fireworks! I'll let you know if I burn anything down with my brothers crazy new stockpile of arsenal. News Archive...
